Lexus Engine

The Ultimate Engineering of an Engine

March 4, 2012 · pinkstones

The video below gives a brief demo on how our engines are so much stronger than engines built by other manufacturers – our casting process ensures the creation of the srongest build possible. Watch the video to see for yourself!

As the video demonstrates, the casting process of the engine is critical to the quality of the build. Where most manufacturers pour liquid aluminium into the cast, which can cause bubbles from the splashes (which create weak areas), our engineers use a vaccum. This method ensures that there are NO weak areas anywhere.

The “devil is in the detail” and our engineers look to improve areas which most manufacturers don’t. With a Lexus, you are guaranteed an absolute top quality car which excels in every single aspect.

In this Lexus Heritage section, we’ll be posting interesting articles about various important cars and events in Lexus history. We will also be showcasing the sheer lengths that our engineers go to in order for Lexus cars to be made to the highest standard possible. No matter where a Lexus is built, one thing remains constant: The idea that every step of the production process should reflect the Pursuit of Perfection.
